The 2006 NHL Season Is Over

Well, it's all over for my Oilers. Despite an awesome effort, they lost game 7 to the Carolina Hurricanes by a score of 3-1. The Con Smythe trophy is awarded to the Most Valuable Player of the playoffs. It was awarded to Carolina Hurricanes goalie, Cam Ward.

I will have to wait til next year and see if my Leafs can get it done.

Well it was tense night. I really thought that it was over for my Oilers last night. I am a die-hard Maple Leafs fan but you never would have guessed that on Wednesday night. We were cheering pretty hard. And you would think that someone had won the lottery when Pisani scored that OT goal.

Game 6 is on Saturday night and I have to work a wedding. GRRRRRR!! I will have to get the upstairs bartender to call down with updates throughout the night. Or maybe I can hid a small TV behind the bar. I don't think that the Bride would like that. Having all of her male guests(and maybe some female ones) crowded around the bar watching the game.

Tom Cruise Is Trying To Convert Angelina

Upon the birth of Shiloh Nouvel, Tom Cruise called Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to offer his congratulations. He also invited them to his home when they return to the states. It is reported that he is trying to convert one or both of them to Scientology.


I am still wondering when we might see some pics of little Suri. I am surprised that Tom and Katie haven't had a photo spread in every magazine on the planet since the pics of Shiloh came
out.

Well the mystery has been solved. His name is Perry Taylor and he is a 28 year old graduate of the Naval Academy. He has been in a two year relationship with his girlfriend. And he isn't a "nanny", he works in private security.

So there you go. Sorry to break it to all of you who were hoping that Brit may have found someone that can treat her good and show her a little respect.

I know that you aren't going to like this but I am not going to discuss what they are saying because I think that it is in really poor taste that they are releasing this BS story on the same day that the pics of the baby come out.

I also think it is great that Brad and Angelina used the money made from the sale of the pics for charity. They have to be two of the most giving celebrities ever.

Jennifer Garner Pulls Out of Dallas

It is reported that Jennifer Garner has decided not to play the part of Pam Ewing in the big screen version of Dallas. The reason is because Jennifer Lopez is set to play Sue Ellen.

Jennifer Garner is worried that there might be tension on the set if she and J-Lo are there together.


I think it just shows that Jennifer Garner has class. She obviously cares about the other people on the set and she doesn't want to cause anyone any distress. That is class.

Primadonna Lindsay

Apparently Miss "I'm too good for 'un-famous' directors" has walked out on the movie "Bill" in which she had a role. It is reported that they changed directors and the new ones aren't "BIG" enough for her.

She wants to associate with stars and directors of a much better caliber.

Piece of advice Lindsay: GET OVER YOURSELF!!!! GROW UP!!!

Ashley Simpson Trying To Look Like Sister Jessica!!

Since the nose job Ashley is looking more and more like big sister Jessica. I wonder if she was going for that look or is she turning into a Jess clone purely by accident.

X-Men 3 Was Awesome!!!!!

Got to see it while we were on vacation and it was great! I personally think it was the best of the three X-Men movies.

There were a few surprises. Well more than a few surprises. And they were big ones!!! But my goodness it was sooooooo good.

I missed this part but be sure to stay in the theater until the end of the credits. Apparently there is a little clip there that is pretty important.

I really hope that there is an X-Men 4. I do know that a new movie about Wolverine is in the works. Can't wait.
